Trying out a new type of blog post where I basically make a prediction.

Prediction
The St. Louis Cardinals will keep first place in the Central Division for the rest of the season. Since Brandon Phillips (Cincinnati Reds) decided to run his mouth and fire up the Cardinals, I don't think the Cardinals will give up first place. At best the Cincinnati Reds will maybe tie the Cardinals for the division lead.

As of today the Cardinals are 1 game up (8.13.2010)
St. Louis Cardinals - W64 L49
Cincinnati Reds - W64 L51 (1 game back)

We'll have to check back in October to see if I was right.

[8.26.2010] Uh, yeah. Its only been 2 weeks and the Cardinals are 3.5 games back. Prediction: Busted (big time)
