I originally wrote this post over at illegalshift.com, but I wanted to re-post it to own my blog. Its an idea for a NFL Minor League System. How it could work and what problems it could solve.

I'm co-hosting a sports show with some buddies of mine called Illegal Shift.

Most of you probably won't agree with my plan, but I hope its at least entertaining. If money wasn't the most important thing I think this realignment would be possible.

With all the conference disruption the SEC has a chance to solidify itself with the greatest conference known to man.

NFL Draft + Fantasy Football = Awesome

The Scouting Combine before the NFL Draft draws a lot of attention. A combine for NFL free agents would probably be even bigger. Maybe someday it will happen.

Earlier this month Arkansas State decided they would not fire coach Roberts and let him stay on for at least one more year. I was in favor of this decision at the time because I was pretty sure ASU wouldn't have been able to hire somebody that was a better coach then Roberts. But now they might want to reconsider and see what it would take hire Leach...

Urban Meyer stepped down as the head coach of the Florida Gators citing medical reasons. Bob Stoops & Bobby Petrino will be potential replacements and Razorback fans better hope Bob Stoops take the job.

College football should have a playoff system and I think I know just how it should look.

Darren McFadden has been a disappointment at this point in his career. He hasn't lived up to the promise and hype that surrounded him when he was drafted #5 overall to the Raiders.

My college and NFL picks. I think Alabama will pull it out in the SEC Championship, the Colts stay undefeated and the Cowboys hang on to the their division lead.
